Summertime Impacts Scale Modling

Summer is coming this month and many scale modelers turn turn to the outdoors for more energetic entertainment.

But Nature has a funny way of slowing down modeling efforts building projects of its own.

How to bring modeling to a screeching
...at least tweeting) halt

God and my wife brought my modeling efforts to dead stop last week as a pair of robins were raising their brood on the outer window sill just above my modeling desk.

Watching the mother pick the exactly right spot for her nest, starting it one afternoon only to have her work blown away over night and coming back in the morning to restart it shows determination most of us lack.

If the life creation is a process is something you you never get to see you have been robbed of a real pleasure.

The (Only two out of three) made it from egg shell to chick, but they are well cared for. The fact one was lost didn't sink the mom and pop into remorse, they continued their efforts with diligence.

It is fascinating stuff for a home video to share with friends. My wife propped up her iPad and let it run in 45-minute spurts with the nest centered.

The mother and father seem to have gotten used to it, in fact they can tolerate a lot more of my movement than you might expect.

It is amazing to me how they cherish their newborn and us superior creations think nothing of throwing our babies out with the trash.

She then edits it to relieve the lengthy brooding (mom sitting on the eggs) and invites friends to marvel at the chick growing process.

Scale Modeling site for sale

There have been a couple interested parties, but neither has put forth a solid offer. I repeat, ALL offers will be considered.

Take a look, this is a profitable website: www.scale-modelers-handbook.com, all 468 self-created pages plus 90 build by visitors and five active ebooks.

My first exposure of this idea is to the 5-year newsletter's 1,460-member community as you have been with me for so long.

I will entertain any reasonable offer. Actually, I am more interested in it's continuity than ascribing a dollar value.

It has been a fun ride, I'm still healthy enough to do other things. But I can't imagine my wife ever taking this on.

If you have an interest, Let's talk.

A more aggressive eBook program could double that. Add in a good affiliate program or two and you have the makings of a successful home business.

This is a Site BuildIt hosted website and there is help available from page design, to marketing and from building traffic to monetization methods is more than you can imagine.
