Victory model rigging

None of the so called eXperts do rigging as I do
That is prior to stepping the masts I stick them on a piece of scrap and fit ends of standing rigging yards hoists everything that will save you fiddling with lines etc when the masts have been stepped this is by far the best way to do period ships rigging

SMH Respondsthis works really well. I have actually drilled holes in the scrap at a slight angle to maintain the "rake" of the masts.

JIT Rigging Idea ... NEW
by: Anonymous

great idea - I'm putting my first period ship - 1/130 Von Wappenburg / Jolly Roger et al in a case I'm also building prior to 'finishing up the rigging' - so this was a timely idea for me I'm sure will help. Thanks.
